Agartala Dec 04: The massive win of Bharatiya Janata Party in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan is a result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ideologies and efforts of building an ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ and ‘Sushashan’, said chief minister Dr Manik Saha.
The chief minister hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he addressed the press from Pradesh BJP headquarters in capital city over the assembly election results in 4 states.
Lashing out at the opposition, Dr Saha said, “The opposition continuously tried to bemuse the common people with filthy politics of caste, creed and religion. They tried to divert the thoughts of people from the real scenario of development and good governance under BJP regime. But, the results in 3states clearly depicts people’s faith in BJP”.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi always says there are only four class of people that need to be attended and given importance; women, youth, farmers and poor. The selfless work of the government for the overall development of all these four classes is the reason behind BJPs massive win”, he added.
The chief minister also pointed out several works under the Modi- government towards making a self-reliant India and women empowerment.
“It is the Modi government that has made central government facilities available at the doorstep of the common people with launch of Viksit Bharat Sanklap Yatra like schemes. Women today are receiving several benefits and are independent in every way”, he said.
“Modi means gurantee”, said Dr Manik Saha.
Talking about the opposition political parties, the chief minister said, “The vote percent of CPM in all four states clearly shows its ‘Washout Status’. And the status of Congress is clear from the results as it could be seen in social media only during the times of elections”.
On being asked about leaders leaving BJP and joining Congress, the chief minister said, “There are some people who keep on changing parties. They supposedly have a problem in their central nervous system”.
“People may change political colours but this will not affect the BJP as we work 365 with the motive of Seva for the people”, he added.
Addressing the press conference BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee said, “There is no alternative to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party”.
“The results and victory of BJP is enough to understand that for yet another term, BJP government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be established to power in the forthcoming 2024 assembly elections”, he said.
The press meet was organized to convey thanks to the voters who voted in favour of the party in the four poll bound states.
State BJP spokesperson Sunit Sarkar also remained present at the day’s press conference.
