Agartala, Feb 05: Those who have left the Tipra Matha party and joined the national party for the greed of power have lost their freedom of speech, a party leader said on Monday.
Former supremo of Tipra Motha also said, he left the National Party to give justice to Tiprasa in Tripura.
He was speaking at a programme organized to mark third Foundation Day of Tipra Motha at Malanch Niwas in Agartala.
He said, for the first time in history, a regional party has won the title of opposition party on the state. Now, there are 13 MLAs in the Tripura Assembly to speak for the development of Tiprasa.
He also expressed his concern that the Tiprasa people were still weak in terms of development.
Tipra Motha has got the place of opposition party in 2023 assembly elections but still Tiprasa is weak in terms of education.
He asked Tiprasa to continue the fight for experiencing development.
In Tripura, Tiprasa people are yet to get justice. They are still landless, he said.
On this day, he also warned that the Tiprasa students are being forced to write exams in Bengali script, instead of Roman script.
If they try to play with the emotions of Tiprasa, then the President of the Board Dr. Dhananjay Ganachoudhury and the Tripura government should be ready for the response.
