Tripura CM confident of sailing through in 2023 polls, inaugurates party’s election office

Agartala Dec 15: Amid speculations of opposition trying to unite against BJP, the chief minister DR Manik Saha is confident of winning the poll battle with majority of seats.
“Based on good-governance and developmental attitude of the BJP-led government people of Tripura will definitely re-establish the party to power in 2023 “, said chief minister Dr Manik Saka.
The statement came as Tripura chief minister Dr Manik Saha along with state BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee took part in house-warming puja for the ne BJP state election office here on Thursday.
Explaining the necessity of new election office, chief minister Dr Mnaik Saha said, “Although we have a state BJP office but that is not enough. The new election office of the party will be helpful in monitoring all the party activities centering the ensuing elections and all campaign materials and meetings will be handled here”.
On being asked about meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the chief minister said, “The Prime Minister will arrive here on December 18 and will hold meetings with the BJP Ministers and MLAs and also a meeting will be held with the BJP core committee members”.
The meeting will entirely focus on organizational issues and strategies will be chalked out for the 2023 assembly polls, he added.
Chief whip of Tripura legislative assembly, Kalyani Roy, Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder, state BJP general secretary Papiya Dutta and others remained present at the inaugural ceremony.
