Agartala, Aug 29: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma along with BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee attended the BJP’s North East Headquarters in Guwahati on Monday.

Soon after the Khumulwng rally, BJP national president J.P. Nadda along with the Chief Minister and others left for Guwahati.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Manipur Chief Minister Biren Singh, former NE organisational secretary of BJP Ajay Jamwal and many other party leaders form the region attended the inaugural ceremony.

A meeting of the senior party functionaries was held at ITA, Machkhowa later this evening.

“In presence of senior party leaders from across the country, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Shri J.P.Nadda Ji inaugurated the newly-constructed BJP North East HQ at Uzan Bazar. I’m certain that the newly built party NE HQ will help us in connecting better with people of the region. Our heartfelt gratitude to Shri Ajay Jamwal ji, former NE Organisational Secretary, since the construction of this new building came up in his tenure,” the Assam Chief Minister wrote I a social media post.
