Agartala: Sept 08: Tripura Pradesh Congress started its 'Bharat Judo Yatra' in Agartala on Thursday. As per the pan-India programme, a rally started from the Pradesh Congress Bhavan this morning after hoisting the party flag. 

Hundreds of Congress workers and supporters were present in the procession. State Congress president Birjit Sinha, MLA Sudip Roy Barman, former MLA Ashish Kumar Saha and other leaders were in the rally.

Birjit Sinha said that Congress had organized programs across India to unite the country's people. He said, unemployment is increasing in the country, prices of daily necessities are skyrocketing and secularism is in danger.

BJP government is only creating hatred and sowing the seeds of communalism among people. So Congress has undertaken the Bharat Judo Yatra programme to defeat BJP’s ploy. Such marches have been conducted in all the assembly constituencies of the state, Sinha said.
