Tripura governor pays floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on Martyrs’ Day

Agartala, Jan 30: Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu laid wreath and paid floral tributes on the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Murtiprangan, near Circuit house in Agartala on Tuesday.
The Governor also laid a wreath and paid floral tribute on the Gandhi Bedi, at Gandhighat. He was accompanied by Minister for Industries and Commerce Santana Chakma and others.
Underlining the significance of the day, the Governor said that Mahatma Gandhi had played a major role in India’s freedom movement.
The Governor called for the implementation of Mahatma Gandhi’s ideology and principles to enhance the development of the country.
