Agartala, Nov 19: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Saturday said various state and central schemes are being implemented across the state.
Addressing a programme in South Tripura, the Chief Minister said all the development works are going on in a transparent manner.
Dr. Saha, who inaugurated various facilities during his visit to the South Tripura, said the present state government only wants welfare of the people.
He inaugurated new two-storied building of B.C. Nagar RD Block, block godown and block-level Sushason Mela in Belonia. He also inaugurated new District Panchayat Resource Centre at Vivekananda Colony in North Sarasima. The Chief Minister then inaugurated new two-storied building of Arya Colony Higher Secondary School and its auditorium.
The Chief Minister said, the government has launched ‘Prati Ghare Sushason’ campaign so that people of all sections of the society can reap the benefits of such welfare schemes.
He also said, Tripura is holding a good position in the country according to National Bureau of Crime Report.
The Chief Minister handed over lease papers of Amrit Sarovar, loan cheques, keys of the market stall, mini rice machine, sewing machines etc., to the beneficiaries in the programme.
MLA Arun Chandra Bhoumik, MLA Sankar Roy, DM & Collector Saju Wahid A., chairperson of B.C. Nagar Panchayat Samiti- Putul Pal Biswas, BDO Kaberi Nath and District Superintendent of Police Dr. Kulwant Singh were present in the programme.
During his visit to Arya Colony Higher Secondary School, the Chief Minister interacted with the students and urged them to become people of values and discipline and to also focus on extra-curricular activities apart from academic studies for all round performance. He also asked the teachers to stay updated with new knowledge and facts. Assistant Head Master of the school- Ashish Choudhury was present.
