Tripura youth goes missing in Bangladesh mysteriously

Boxanagar, Dec 31: A youth from Boxanagar in Sonamura sub-division mysteriously went missing in Bangladesh.
The youth- Suman Miah (35), a fertilizer trader and resident of Kakramura area of Kalsimura in Boxanagar, entered Bangladesh through Agartala- Akhaura Integrated Check Post on December 29. He had last communication with his wife in the afternoon on the same day. The youth had left the house saying that he would visit sister’s home at Comilla in Bangladesh.
On December 30, Suman’s wife received a call from a Bangladeshi mobile number. She was informed by the caller that Suman was detained by police. The youth’s family in Boxanagar communicated the same to their relatives in Comilla. But there was no report of Suman in the local police station. On the other hand, there was no communication between the youth and his family.
In such a situation, Suman’s parents went to Kalamchaura police station and alleged that their son was ‘kidnapped’ in Bangladesh. They drew the attention of the administration for the safe return of the youth.
