Agartala, Jan 03: MLA and Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder on Friday inaugurated the state-level Rajya Stariya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshini here at Agartala Agartala Tulsibati Girls’ Higher Secondary School and said that this exhibition is to provide a forum for children to pursue their natural curiosity, creativity, innovation and inventiveness.

The exhibition was organised by the State Council of Educational Research & Training, Tripura. This year the main theme of Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshini is 'Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future'.

Addressing the gathering of students and children, MLA Dipak Majumder said, “Science fairs are a special platform to combine our imagination and creativity with practical experience. In this kind of exhibition, students get an opportunity to develop their innovative thinking, scientific thinking and talent.”

He said that the scientific thinking of children or students can play a beneficial role in the welfare of society, state and country in the future. Students of various schools of the eight districts of the state participated in this exhibition with a total of 40 science models.
