Udaipur, Sep 4: A commander vehicle carrying 12 to 15 passengers fell nearly 200 feet down a slope at the Poangbari area under Killa police station on Wednesday morning.

The accident took place when the vehicle was traveling from Killa Motor Stand to Maithulungbari. 

Police and fire tenders rushed to the scene, but poor road conditions delayed their arrival. Later, the injured were first taken to Killa Primary Health Centre from where eight injured were referred to Gomati District Hospital for further treatment. 

The injured were Padma Rani Malsom (26), Devraj Bahadur Malsom (60), Nayan Lakshmi Malsom (45), Bagan Shani Malsom (30), Ponch Rani Malsom (40), Rachana Pati Malsom (40) and two others. 

Among the injured the condition of Devraj Bahadur Malsom is stated to be critical.
