Agartala Jan 21: Ahead of the crucial state conference of CPI-M, the party organized a voluntary blood donation camp at Bhanu Ghosh Smriti Bhavan on Tuesday.
Former chief minister and CPI-M Politburo Manik Sarkar attended the camp highlighting the party’s commitment to social welfare and community service.
Speaking to the reporters, the former chief minister highlighted enthusiastic participation from party activists and supporters, all united to a common cause of donating blood, compared to previous days.
“Our party’s one of the most important programs, Rajya Sammelan, is scheduled to be held in next few days. keeping that in front, the party has organized this voluntary blood donation camp. I am amazed to see a great number of activists and supporters coming forward for this noble cause”, said Sarkar.
He further noted crucial points including ‘law and order’, ‘unemployment’, ‘hiked price of essential commodities’, ‘attacks on opposition party leaders and workers’, like issues to be discussed in the upcoming Rajya Sammelan.
