Agartala Sept 06: Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress raised serious allegations of corruption in the recent examination results of the Tripura Cooperative Bank.
The Youth Congress representatives, on Friday led by state president Neelkamal Saha, met with the bank’s manager to present a deputation regarding their concerns.
Talking to the media persons, state youth Congress president detailed the allegations and the steps taken by the Youth Congress to seek transparency and accountability in the examination process.
“Since the day of notification announced for the recruitment examinations where candidates were forced to move outside of the state to sit for the exams, the Pradesh Youth Congress has been protesting. On the way for this examination, one of the youths even lost his life”, he said.
Saha further added, “Earlier the Manager of Cooperative Bank said that the exams have been conducted under IBPS and they have nothing to do with it. But when the results are announced it is found that the list of candidates selected for recruitment have been announced by the Cooperative Bank and IBPS has nothing to do with it”.
Youth Congress leaders further alleged that the manager being a core BJP member has taken money and favoured candidates of his own choice.
They emphasized the need for a thorough investigation to ensure fairness and integrity in the recruitment process.
