Kumarghat Aug 09: Congress organized “Bharat Jodo Yatra” to mark the Quit India Movement Day on Tuesday.

Congress organized the march in the wake of repeated and intense attacks on democracy, constitution and social infrastructure of society.

Congress leaders Satyaban Das, Samiran Das, Tarun Saha along with other Congress workers and supporters participated in the rally.

The procession traversed various streets of Kumarghat city.

Congress leader Satyaban Das targeted the ruling BJP adding that politics of hatred is being practiced by those who never participated in the country's freedom movement and whose ideology led to the assassination of the Father of the Nation.

He remarked that the Bharat Jodo March will unite every Indian committed to protecting and promoting the values ​​initiated in the freedom movement of the country under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi.
