Agartala, Nov 24: Maloynagar in the outskirts of Agartala city turned into a confluence of devotion amid presence of lakhs of devotees during Tripura Utsav on Sunday.

Tripura Utsav, the vibrant spiritual congregation, was organized by Satsang Tripura to mark the 137th birth anniversary of Sri Sri Thakur Anukulchandra.

Every corner of the huge ground along with Amtali- Khayerpur bypass road was filled with devotees since the morning.

The performance of The White Band from Deoghar Dham was one of the key attractions. The band’s vibrant show in the evening left the audience spellbound.

The arrangements including medical units and drinking water facility made by the organizer were appreciated by all. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and several other figures joined the spiritual event.

Speaking to the media, Dr. Saha said, such initiatives build soulful relations between the people and spread spiritual consciousness. He lauded the effort of Satsang’s Tripura State Committee.
