Agartala, Nov 24: In a significant success against drugs trafficking, Assam Rifles in a Joint Operation with the Customs department successfully seized 1000 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine commonly known as ICE in international market.

The market value of the seized drugs is approximately Rs 16 crore.

Following a tip-off, Assam Rifles swiftly launched the operation at Badharghat area, which culminated in the seizure of the contraband and its subsequent handover to Customs department.

This operation highlights the unwavering commitment of Assam Rifles in the fight against drug trafficking and illegal smuggling activities in the region.
