Forest Rangers' annual conference held in Agartala

Agartala, Nov 24: The fourth annual conference of the Rangers' Association was held at Geetanjali Guest House in Agartala on Sunday.
State Forest Minister, Animesh Debbarma inaugurated the programme in presence of other dignitaries.
IFS officer R.K. Samal, All India Forest Officers' Federation Treasurer Sundar Sindhu and president of the Tripura Forest Rangers Association, Suman Bhowmik, General Secretary Jagat Bahadur Debbarma and others were present during the programme.
While interacting with the media, Minister Debbarma stressed on the critical responsibilities of forest rangers in safeguarding forest resources. He applauded their efforts in protecting biodiversity and combating environmental threats and encouraged them to remain committed to their crucial work.
The conference provided a platform to discuss key challenges and issues faced by forest rangers, focusing on their vital role in preserving the environment and addressing the growing concerns of deforestation and climate change.
