4 Bangladeshi nationals apprehended

Dharmanagar, Sep 07: Police on Saturday morning detained at least four Bangladeshi nationals including two women from Dharmanagar LIC Office area. The Bangladeshi nationals were supposed to travel to Bangalore by train.
The detained Bangladeshi nationals were identified by the police as 50 years old Mohammad Hanif, 35 years old Mohammad Yusuf Ali, Parul Begum and Jasmine Akhtar. All the detained persons hail from Bagerhat in Bangladesh.
Police said that they were found to be roaming infront of LIC bazar area on Friday last, following which the police apprehended them and during the preliminary interrogation, they revealed that they were supposed to move to Bangalore in search of job.
Reportedly, the detained Bangladeshi nationals entered into the Indian territory by crossing the border in Kailasahar in assistance with a Bangladeshi tout.
