Kailashahar, Dec 17: State Agriculture Minister Ratanlal Nath inaugurated the Krishi Swarna Samriddhi Week at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Fatikroy on Tuesday. 

During the event, 30 thousand kg high-quality potato seeds were distributed among 620 farmers, along with 700 packets of vegetable seeds for all attending farmers. 

Besides, various agricultural tools and equipment were handed over to 300 farmers.

Minister Sudhanshu Das and other public representatives also attended the event. 

Highlighting the government’s mission, Minister Nath emphasized that the primary goal is to make farmers self-reliant in producing food grains, horticulture and plantation crops. 

He assured the farming community that the state government and its departments will take all necessary measures to encourage and support better crop production.
