Agartala, Jun 18: Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation, Dipak Majumder, visited the GB area on Monday to inspect ongoing road development projects. 

AMC Commissioner Dr. Shailesh Kumar Yadav, along with other officials from the AMC and PWD departments, accompanied Majumder during the visit.

As part of the visit, the Mayor interacted with the locals and assured them of the smooth conduct of the construction work.

While interacting with the media, he assured that the road widening work, which was halted due to several reasons, will resume soon. 

Besides, in order to ensure proper drainage, the municipal corporation will allocate funds for a covered drainage system.
