Agartala, Feb 10: Minister for Tourism Sushanta Chowdhury and Minister for Finance Pranajit Singha Roy inspected the progress of renovation and beautification of Jagannath Dighi at Udaipur on Friday.

If everything goes as per the plan the project would get its final shape very soon.

The ministers along with Sabhadhipati in-charge of Gomati Zilla Parishad Debal Debroy, chairperson of Udaipur Municipal Council Shital Chandra Majumder and other officials held a meeting at the conference hall of the Zilla Parishad.

They passed necessary instructions to the officials concerned to complete the remaining works within the stipulated time.

The Finance minister in a social media post mentioned that an amount of Rs. 16 was already spent in the project that started in 2018.
