CPI(M) protests against remarks on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar

Khowai, December 30: The CPI(M) organized a protest rally in Khowai, condemning derogatory remarks made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah about Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The rally started from the CPI(M) office in Khowai, passed through several key locations in the town, and concluded at Kohinoor near Subhash Park Market. Following the rally, a meeting was held at the venue.
Prominent leaders including Khowai CPI(M) MLA Nirmal Biswas, prominent leaders including Palash Bhowmik and Padma Kumar Debbarma attended the meeting, along with other party members and supporters. During the event, one of the speakers alleged that Union Home Minister Amit Shah had made disrespectful remarks about Dr. Ambedkar during the Winter Session of Parliament on December 17, last.
The speaker accused the BJP-led government of insulting the architect of the Indian Constitution, further intensifying the anger and discontent among the protesters. The CPI(M) leaders vowed to continue their fight to uphold the values and contributions of Dr. Ambedkar against any attempts to tarnish his legacy.
