Dharmanagar, Feb 20: The Dharmanagar Press Club on Thursday felicitated the outgoing District Magistrate of North Tripura district Debapriya Bardhan and lauded his relentless effort, he made during his service as DM in the district.

The outgoing DM Debapriya Bardhan will take charge as the Director of the state Food and Civil Supplies Department in Agartala.

Dharmanagar Press Club Secretary Panna Ghosh, Office Secretary Rupak Debnath and other journalists were present in the programme and said that Debapriya Bardhan was an exemplary officer to the common people, administrative circles and journalists of North Tripura and has always stood by the people and has come forward to solve their problems during his service period as a DM.

Chandni Chandran, who was the District Magistrate of Khowai Tripura district took charge as the DM of North Tripura replacing Debapriya Bardhan, whereas Rajat Pant took charge as the DM of Khowai Tripura district.
