Agartala, Dec 29: With the initiative of CPI(M)’s Hapania wing of DYFI, a Yuna Yatra was organized from the party office at Hapania in Agartala on Sunday. 

All India General Secretary of the organization, Himangnaraj Bhattacharya, flagged off the rally in the presence of other dignitaries.

State Secretary of the organization, Nabaron Deb and other leaders also participated in the rally.

The rally, which focused on demands for employment generation, the reestablishment of the rule of law and combating drug use, traversed through various streets of the Hapania area.

Later, addressing a roadside meeting, Bhattacharya emphasized the need to strengthen the party wing in the state.

Criticizing the present double-engine government, he called for a united protest against the misconducts of the present administration.
