Guv visits BOP BSF Arjuna in North Tripura District

Dharmanagar, Jan 05: Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu on Saturday visited the Border Outpost (BOP) Arjuna of Border Security Force at Jubarajnagar in Dharmanagar subdivision and interacted with the BSF troopers deployed along the India-Bangladesh border.
DIG Rajiv Bhatsraj of BSF Sector Headquarters, Panisagar and Commandant S Khud of BSF 97 Battalion welcomed the Governor and briefed the Governor about various programs of BSF in border security.
After visiting the BOP, the Governor accompanied by the District Magistrate of North tripyra District Debapriya Bardhan and officials visited Baithangbari border village of Balidhum ADC Village in Jubarajnagar on Saturday morning.
The Governor interacted with the local residents at Baithangbari English Medium SB School premises and said that the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is implementing various projects for the development of the people. He advised the local people to take advantage of various schemes of the Central and State Governments.
Prior to his visits, the Governor met the former MLA of Jubarajnagar assembly constituency and the president of BJP state OBC Morcha Malina Debnath and BJP North Tripura district president Kajal Das here at Dharmanagar Circuit House.
