Belonia, Nov 08: The Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar College has set a unique example by organizing two mega blood donation camps within a span of 15 days. Led by Principal Dr. Manoranjan Das, with active participation from faculty and students, the first camp was held on October 24, last, during the Freshers' Day celebrations, with 80 students donating blood. The second camp on Friday saw 45 students participating.

Rupak Majumder, Chairperson of the South Tripura Child Welfare Society, praised the college for its commitment to community welfare and social responsibility. Following the success of the first event, local blood banks requested another camp due to a critical shortage. In response, the college arranged the second camp, helping to replenish the region’s blood supplies.
