Dharmanagar, Feb 22: The Dharmanagar Municipal Council jointly with the common people has begun ‘Juri River Cleanliness Campaign’ to clean the wastes from the river here in Dharmanagar.

The campaign begins through offering wreaths in the river bank, where the Tripura Legislative Assembly Speaker and Dharmanagar MLA Biswabandhu Sen, Chairman of the Dharmanagar Municipal Council Mitali Das Sen, councillors and other common people joined the campaign to clean the river water.

With a spade on his hand, the MLA Bishwabandhu Sen said that the cleanliness drive will be held for other rest of the rivers in Dharmanagar. He called for active participation of the people of Dharmanagar.
