Agartala, Feb 22: A police complaint has been filed against popular YouTuber Anurag Dobhal, known as UK07 Rider, for allegedly violating regulations by filming inside the Ujjayanta Palace Museum in Agartala.
The Youth Tipra Federation (YTF), the youth wing of the Tipra Motha Party, submitted the complaint to the West Agartala Police Station, raising concerns over the breach of the Tripura Government’s guidelines, which prohibit recording videos and taking pictures inside the museum.
The complaint follows a demand by YTF leader Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma for an investigation into how the YouTuber was allowed to film inside the museum. The footage, which was shared on social media platforms over the past few days, has raised alarm among the people of Tripura. The YTF leaders emphasized that such actions are prohibited, as the Ujjayanta Palace Museum is a protected site under the Higher Education Department of the Tripura Government, following protocols established for ancient monuments.
The YTF has called for strict legal action against the YouTuber and any responsible officials who may have authorized the filming, urging authorities to take immediate steps to address the violation. The Ujjayanta Palace, one of Northeast India's most iconic landmarks, is a heritage site that requires preservation under the government’s historical monument protection rules.
