Kalyanpur MLA chairs meeting focusing preparations for Secondary, HS Examinations

Kalyanpur Feb 20: The Tripura Board of Secondary Education's (TBSE) Secondary and Higher Secondary Examination is set to commence on February 24, followed by the Secondary Examination starting on February 25. In anticipation of these important dates, a preparatory meeting was held on Wednesday in Kalyanpur, with the presence of MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury and various government associate departments.
This year, the Higher Secondary Examination will be conducted in one school, while the Secondary Examination will take place in two schools in Kalyanpur.
The designated schools for these examinations are North Ghilatli Ratia Higher Secondary School and Bagan Bazar High School. During the meeting, a committee comprising 26 members was formed, with Tapan Das, the headmaster of North Ghilatli School, appointed as the secretary of the committee.
Tapan Das, while speaking to the reporters, provided detailed information about the upcoming examinations.
He said, “A total of 127 students from seven schools will appear for the Secondary Examination at North Ghilatli Ratia Higher Secondary School. This includes 57 male and 70 female students. Additionally, 214 candidates from five schools will take the Higher Secondary Examination at the same venue, with 99 male and 115 female students. The Superintendent for this centre is Mrityunjay Gope”.
“At Bagan Bazar High School 199 candidates from ten schools will sit for the Secondary Examination, comprising 94 boys and 105 girls”, he added.
MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury emphasized the importance of conducting the examinations smoothly and extended his best wishes for a bright future to all the students.
