Kailashahar, Oct 11: Kailashahar received heavy downpours since Friday morning, accompanied by frequent lightning strikes. 

In a tragic turn of events, two residents of the Shrinathpur Gram Panchayat area were injured due to a lightning strike.
 
The injured persons- Monowara Begum and Sadikunnessa were rushed to the local hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.
