Udaipur, April 04: Locals of Rajnagar area under Matabari R D Block accused the panchayat secretary of Rajnagar Panchayat and alleged of low quality construction work of 80-meter road at Rajnagar.  

The panchayat secretary was assigned to look after the work. Following the allegation, Chairman of Matabari Panchayat Samiti Shilpi Das, BDO of Matabari R D Block Subrata Dey and others visited the construction site and reportedly found the allegation of locals true.

BDO Subrata Dey told the reporters that some of the allegation raised by the locals were found to be true and accordingly necessary instruction is given to the Panchayat secretary to maintain quality of the construction work.

On the other hand, a local resident said that despite repeated warnings, the construction work went unchecked. The locals however demanded for proper utilization of fund sanctioned for the construction work.
