Teliamura March 25: A maternal health protection and nutrition distribution program was conducted on Tuesday at the Lakshmipur Ayushman Arogya Mandir, under the Lakshmipur Gram Panchayat in Teliamura Block.

The event, organized by the Teliamura Subdivisional Health Department, aimed to ensure the well-being of pregnant mothers by addressing nutritional needs to prevent complications during childbirth.

Panchayat pradhan Krishna Gopal Nandi, upa pradhan Bimal Das, CHO Abhijit Das, and Panchayat Executive Officer Jayanti Das were among the dignitaries who attended.

For the first time, nutritious food items were distributed to pregnant mothers as part of the initiative.

The invited guests assured that monthly medical treatment would be provided at the health center to further support maternal health in the region.
