Gandacherra, Oct 30: A large number of guardians of the students of Pakhi Tripura Para East Bulongbasa Higher Secondary School on Wednesday showed protest against the transfer of two teachers from the school.
The agitated guardians said that the teachers were transferred in a sudden move by the government at the time of examination period in the school. They also said that at a time when the school is reeling under teachers’ crisis, the two teachers were transferred from the school to land the students in trouble.
The parents locked the school as part of their agitation and further complained that the students are suffering due to lack of proper infrastructure in the school. During the last 5 years, a 2-storied building was left half completed in the school, the agitated guardians said, adding that due to lack of toilets in the school, the students are suffering.
The guardians however demanded the concerned authority to withdraw the transfer order of two teachers in the school.

The school inspector assured the parents that their demands would be resolved after Kali Puja. After receiving this assurance from the school inspector, the agitated parents unlocked the school and withdrew their agitation.
