Agartala Nov 01: Tripura Police along with other security forces have worked tirelessly to ensure a serene celebration of the festival of lights, said Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan.

Extending his warm wishes to the people of Tripura on the occasion of Diwali, the DGP said, “The festive season that began with the celebration of Durgotsav has remained peaceful and incident-free across the state. This has been possible because of the active and dedicated role of police and security personnel”.

The DGP also thanked the chief minister and the state government for announcing a series of welfare measures ahead of Diwali including hike in DA, ration money, uniform allowance among others.
