Agartala, Feb 22: Police of NCC Police Station detained the accused of 2018 murder case here on Saturday.

The incident took place on June 5 in the year 2018 at Bholananda Palli, where a labour Rezaul Hossain Lashkar was found dead in the room of his rented house and alongside another labour was found injured, said OC Prajit Malakar.

Police said that the co-worker Hossain Ahmed (25) was accused in the incident and following this, police conducted raids multiple times at his house, but failed to arrest him. After almost 7 years, the accused was arrested based on some technical information, police told reporters.
