Shah to visit Bru camp, hold public rally in Dhalai district on Dec 22

Agartala, Dec 17: Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation Amit Shah, who will arrive in the state for NEC Plenary scheduled on December 20-21, will visit a Bru resettlement camp in Dhalai district.
After inspecting the Bruha Para (Haduklau Para) Bru camp, the Union Minister will hold a public meeting at Masurai Para.
He will then join the National Cooperative Conference at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan, Agartala on the same day.
Meanwhile, the Union Home Minister will chair the North Eastern Council’s 72nd plenary in Agartala on December 21. He will arrive a day before.
Union Minister for DoNER Jyotiraditya Scindia and Minister of State for DoNER Dr. Sukanta Majumder will also join the NEC meet. The Governors and Chief Ministers from all North Eastern States will be present, along with high officials.
The Pre-Plenary technical session will be held at a private hotel in Agartala on December 20, chaired by MoS DoNER Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, with participation from Secretaries of various Union Ministries, Chief Secretaries of North Eastern States, and senior officers from the Planning departments.
The state machineries have geared up preparations ahead of the visit of the Union Ministers and other dignitaries.
