Agartala, July 05. The department of agriculture and its’ machineries need to be used with proper direction of guidelines for the achievement of FPOs success in the state Tripura because the government in the country has launched the concept of FPOs here in India has approved and made the Central Sector Scheme of “Formation and Promotion of 10,000 Farmer Producer Organizations(FPOs)” to form and promote 10,000 new FPOs till 2027-28 with a total budgetary outlay of Rs.6865 Cr.  

In this context, a total of seven numbers Cluster Based Business Organizations (CBBOs) empanelled under the Central Sector Scheme for Formation and Promotion of 10,000 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) in the State of Tripura followed by Basix Krishi Samruddhi Limited, Sesta Development Services, International Competence Centre for Organic Agriculture, NH Consulting Private Limited, Sikkim State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Limited, Consortium For Training Research And Development and Qseal Agritech Private Limited.

Though the CBBOs are doing in the state Tripura but the offices are not there and the development works going delay in order to achieve the goal of government of India. The cooperation of agriculture department and the state government have to be concerned about it for the benefit of state farmers to get success of FPOs concept in agriculture.

As there is not any office of concern CBBOs, the CEOs of different FPOs excluded to get the opportunity for getting training from resource persons to make unique plan with an eye to getting success of FPOs. The FPO concept is very important and helpful to enhance farmers’ income double as the government of India also trying to achieve it by dint of supports from state government departments and CBBOs.

The state government may take an initiative in view of doing training activities for the benefit of FPOs in the state because the FPO concept also an appropriate at yet in the teeth of different agricultural issues in the country.

There organization called Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD) may come here by dint of government assistance for proper training to FPO’s CEOs and other related persons to achieve success of government goal.

Few days ago, Kailash Choudhary, Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare had attended an interaction meeting here at ICAR Tripura Complex in which he has directed to all the CBBOs for doing their job with great efficient to train CEOs and all for the benefit of FPOs.
