Sushanta awards TBSE Rank Holders with Rs 5,000 cash prize

Agartala Jun 10: A good number of students under Ranirbazar Municipal Council secured good numbers in the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) conducted Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examinations this year. Taking pride in their accomplishments, a felicitation ceremony was organized on Monday at the Gitanjali Town Hall.
Minister for Transport and Tourism Sushanta Chowdhury inaugurated the program and congratulated the students on their success.
During the event, the minister highlighted the achievements of Tushar Rudra Pal and Santanu Shil, students from Sishu Niketan School in Ranirbazar who secured positions in the top- 10 merit list for secondary and higher secondary examinations.
Chowdhury further emphasized that academic excellence alone is insufficient and students must also develop as good individuals.
A total of 335 meritorious students from four Higher Secondary Schools in Ranirbazar area received felicitation on this day.
Along with that, Tushar Rudra Pal and Santanu Shil were awarded with Rs 5,000 cash for their outstanding results.
The minister also felicitated the teachers of Ranirbazar Schools who helped the students throughout the year.
The ceremony was attended by Chairperson Ranirbazar Municipal Council Aparna Das, Additional Sub-divisional Magistrate Animesh Dhar among others.
