Tripura Assembly's questions to go online from next session: Ratan

Agartala, Nov 07: Minister Ratanlal Nath on Thursday said that the questions in Tripura Legislative Assembly would go online from the next Session.
He was speaking to the media after attending an all-party meeting. He said, some technical gaps are there in implementing eVidansabha initiative of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
The meeting, chaired by Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen, discussed the shortcomings including the issue of submission of questions.
Nath said, some technical problems were noticed when some MLAs tried to submit the questions in digital mode in the last assembly session.
As decided in the meeting, the process would now go online from the next session, he added. Nath also hinted that the next Session of the Tripura Legislative Assembly is likely to be held in January next.
Deputy Speaker Ram Prasad Paul, minister Sushanta Chowdhury, Opposition Leader Jitendra Chaudhuri, Chief Whip Kalyani Roy, Tipra Motha MLA Ranjit Debbarma, Congress MLA Birajit Sinha and other representatives of various political parties were present in the meeting.
