Tripura BJP ready to welcome party chief J.P. Nadda

Agartala, Aug 27: The Tripura unit of Bharatiya Janata Party is all set to offer a warm reception to party’s chief Jagat Prakash Nadda who is arriving in the state on Sunday on a two day-visit.
As part of his Tripura visit, the BJP national president will hold organizational meetings with the party leaders at various levels and he will address a public gathering at TTAADC headquarters- Khumulwng on Monday.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee, Union Minister of State Pratima Bhowmik and other leaders held a meeting to review the preparations for the visit of J.P. Nadda.
The Chief Minister along with DGP Amitabh Ranjan and other officials and party leaders including the state president, minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Minster Sushanta Chowdhury, MP Rebati Tripura and BJP Tripura observer Vinod Sonkar inspected the venue of the public rally at Khumulwng.
Dr. Saha also held discussion on security measures since the rally is expected to draw a massive gathering.
As part of the preparations for Nadda’s visit, the party karyakartas placed flags, festoons and banners at various important locations. They are also running a campaign to make the event successful.
Meanwhile, the two-day visit of BJP national president in the state is important for the ruling party since the state will go to assembly polls early next year.
