“Mahatma Gandhi, also known as Father of the Nation, played a great role to free India and its people from colonial rule and protect the rights and interest of the netizens. But now with the BJP-led government in power, it seems that all his efforts and sacrifice made for the people has gone in vain”, said Saha.
The TPCC president alleged that under the BJP-led government both in the Centre as well as in the State, people are deprived of their rights. Hard-earned Democracy is under threat.
“The present fascist rule under Bharatiya Janata Party is no less than the British regime prior to the independence”, he said.
