Tripura Govt takes initiative for expansion of advanced healthcare, says Pranajit

Udaipur, June 26: Tripura Finance minister Pranajit Singha Roy on Wednesday said the present state government has taken steps to expand the advanced healthcare services across the state.
He said, the government is prioritizing the need for strengthening healthcare with a focus on the district, sub-division, and Panchayat levels.
To ensure healthcare for all, projects like the Chief Minister's Jan Arogya Yojana have been launched, the Finance minister said while inaugurating the Gomati District level TB-mukt Gram Panchayat award distribution ceremony at Rajarshi Kalakshetra in Udaipur.
The event was jointly organized by the Gomati district administration and the office of the Chief Medical Officer, Gomati District.
He highlighted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated the TB-free India campaign to eliminate tuberculosis from the country. During the event, the Finance Minister handed over nutrition kits to two TB patients. Additionally, 60 TB-free Gram Panchayats from eight blocks in the Gomati district were felicitated at the ceremony.
MLA Abhishek Deb Roy, chairman of Udaipur Municipal Council- Sheetal Chandra Majumdar, chairman of Kakraban Panchayat Samiti- Supriya Saha, chairman of Tepania Panchayat Samiti Barna Das and concerned officials were present.
The event was presided over by Sabhadhipati (in-charge) of Gomati Zila Parishad- Debal Deb Roy. The welcome address was delivered by Chief Medical Officer, Gomati district- Dr. Kamal Reang.
