Tripura Govt takes steps to develop Dumboor region: Rebati Tripura

Agartala, July 19: The Tripura government has taken various initiatives for development of Dumboor region, one of the important tourist locations of Tripura, according to MP Rebati Tripura.
The MP in a Facebook post highlighted some of the major initiatives taken by the BJP-IPFT government for the development of this beautiful tourist site.
A new road connecting Ganda Tuisa (Gandacherra)- Tui Chakma to the Helipad would be constructed at the project cost of Rs. 26 crore. Besides, development of Jatanbari to Mandirghat road has been initiated at Rs. 51/52 crore, the MP wrote.
Sharing more details, the MP mentioned that new Log Haats were already constructed at Narkelkunja for night stay of the tourists and initiatives were also taken for development of tele-communication service in the region.
Apart from a Revenue Dak Bungalow construction at Gandacherra, a decision was already taken for introducing houseboat facility in the Dumboor Lake, the MP mentioned in his social media post.
