Agartala/ Kalyanpur, Feb 8: Debajit Das, a 25-year-old youth from Kamalnagar area in Kalyanpur sub-division of Tripura, has carved his path from rural roots to the glitz of Tollywood's Bengali serials.

Despite facing the challenges of poverty, he nurtured his passion for acting from a young age, participating in local plays and honing his skills in rural culture. 

Despite limited resources, he pursued his dreams with unwavering determination.

Supported by his family, especially his father Tapan Kumar Das, Debajit embarked on a journey to pursue acting as a career. 

He received formal training at the SR Vision Performing Arts Academy in Agartala, where he sharpened his craft and prepared himself for the competitive world of entertainment.

His breakthrough came with his debut role as a policeman in the Bengali serial "Haragouri Payesh Hotel." This marked the beginning of his journey into the heart of Tollywood, where he dreams of achieving greater heights in the future.

In a telephonic conversation with our correspondent, Debajit expressed his gratitude to his family and the SR Vision Performing Arts Academy for their unwavering support. 

He also extended an invitation to the people of the state to watch his serial "Haragouri Payesh Hotel" airing on Star Jalsha, Monday to Friday at 10 PM.

Debajit's success resonates not only with the people of Kalyanpur but with aspiring talents across the state.
