Agartala Dec 04: Under the initiative of Agartala Municipal Corporation North Zone, a camp was held on Monday at Shayamali Bazar Bipani Bitan in the capital city to mark the central and state government’s Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) and Prati Ghare Sushasan 2.0 campaigns.
Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder inaugurated the camp in presence of Assistant Commissioner AMC Md. Sajjad, Corporator Pradip Chanda, Jagadish Das, Hiralal Debnath, Santana Saha, Jaya Dhanuk, Shampa Sen Sarkar and others.
Addressing the program, the Mayor said, “Tripura government under the able leadership of chief minister Dr Manik Saha is committed to ensure the benefits of various schemes to the people for ensuring socio-economic development”.
“With the aim of delivering these benefits directly to the people and raise awareness about the flagship schemes of central and state government, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) and Prati Ghare Sushasan 2.0 campaigns have been taken up”, he said.
Stressing on the works done by the ruling BJP government, Majumder said, “The prime minister Narendra Modi has been tirelessly working for the welfare of the common masses, especially the poor over the past nine years. With the vision to deliver the benefits directly to the doorstep of the common people he has taken several initiatives. And following his instructions the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra campaign has been launched in the state as well”.
He added, with such Vikas camps being organized across the state people now do not have to visit several offices repeatedly but avail important documents like PRTC, SC, SC, OBC certificates and other benefits easily.
“These facilities are now easily accessible and requires no hassle”, said the Mayor.
Notably, two camps have already been held under the initiative of South Zone and East Zone of Agartala Municipal Corporation.
Tuesday a similar camp will be organized under the initiative of AMC Central Zone.
