Agartala Jan 12: Agartala witnessed an inspiring celebration of National Youth Day on Sunday, 12th January 2025, through the vibrant event Vivek Yatra, a cycling rally organized by the Event Cell & IIC of Techno College of Engineering, Agartala (TCEA). The rally was supported by the Tripura State AIDS Control Society (TSACS) in collaboration with the Agartala Cycloholic Foundation (ACF), with a focus on the significant cause of raising awareness under the theme “Talk AIDS, Stop AIDS.”
The event commenced at Umakanta Academy Ground, where 30 enthusiastic cyclists came together to participate in the rally, covering a distance of 3.7 km to reach their destination at Swami Vivekananda Stadium. This initiative served as a dual purpose: to honor the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, a symbol of youth empowerment, and to promote health awareness among the community.
The event was graced by prominent dignitaries, including Mr. Debajyoti Gautam, Retired Deputy Superintendent of Police, who attended as the Chief Guests
The Guests of Honour included Dr. Dibakar Deb, Principal of Techno College of Engineering, Agartala, and Professor Dr. Ratan Kumar Saha, Vice-Chancellor of Techno India University.
The event began with the felicitation of the guests by the faculty members, followed by the National Anthem. The cyclists then set off on their journey, riding with zeal and determination, embodying the spirit of Swami Vivekananda’s message: “Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached.”
The rally concluded successfully, leaving behind a message of hope, empowerment, and social responsibility. The organizers and participants expressed their joy and pride in being part of such a meaningful initiative.
Vivek Yatra 2025 stood as a testament to the power of collective action, bringing together the youth, educators, and leaders for a brighter and healthier tomorrow.
