Yaba worth Rs. 2.5 cr seized in Tripura, CM hails police

Dharmanagar, Feb 09: In a major breakthrough under the Neshamukt Tripura campaign, Tripura police seized Yaba tablets worth Rs. 2.5 crore from Bagbasa in North Tripura district on Sunday.
According to SP, North Tripura- Avinash Rai, based on secret information, Bagbasa police raided a Maxx vehicle at the Naka point.
Speaking to the media, the SP said, around 50,000 Yaba tablets in five packets were found in the vehicle during the search.
Police seized the Yaba tablets and arrested the driver of the vehicle- Motalek Miah, resident of Kathalia in Sepahijala district.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha hailed the police’s achievement on his X handle.
“The dedicated efforts of our police personnel towards building Neshamukt Tripura is commendable,” he mentioned in the X post.
