MoS Brishaketu Debbarma extends relief to storm-hit family in Simna

 In a compassionate gesture, Minister of State for Industry and Commerce Brishaketu Debbarma rushed aid to a storm-affected family in Simna constituency after their home was destroyed in last week’s cyclone.

On April 28, the early morning storm ripped through Daiggabari Jumia Tilla in Ramshong ADC village, leaving resident Kiranmala Debbarma’s house in ruins. Responding swiftly, Debbarma, accompanied by local EM Rabindra Debbarma, visited the site and handed over 3.5 bundles of tin sheets along with financial assistance to help the family rebuild. They also assured continued administrative support for rehabilitation.

The relief brought much-needed comfort to the distressed household. Speaking to the media, Kiranmala Debbarma expressed heartfelt gratitude to the leaders for standing by her family during this crisis.

For the affected family, the support has turned despair into hope, offering a path to recovery.
