Aryabhatta Intl University: Delegation visits proposed site in North Tripura

Dharmanagar, Mar 25: Aryabhatta International University will soon be seen functioning in North Tripura.
While the state government placed a Bill in the House on Friday in this regard, a delegation of the university visited the proposed site on Saturday.
In January this year, Dr. Manik Saha-led council of ministers had approved the proposal in-principle for setting up this university at North Tilthai area in Dharmanagar. A proposal for allocating land on lease contract was also approved by the cabinet.
After National Forensic Sciences University and Law University, the proposed Aryabhatta International University is another major step of the BJP-IPFT government to strengthen the higher education sector.
On Saturday, chairman Dr. Gunjan Bansal and secretary Raman Kumar on behalf of the university along with former MLA Malina Debnath isited the proposed site.
The delegates informed the media that the construction would start very soon.
The former MLA said that after being elected in the bye-election she had placed the proposal before Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha for setting up a university in Jubarajnagar constituency. She said, the Chief Minister had accepted and approved the proposal.
As the BJP-IPFT government 2.0 passed the Bill in the first Session of the assembly, the former MLA thanked the government on behalf of the people of Jubarajnagar.
