Agartala, May 10: The development works must be done in a mission mode. Every matter must be given equal importance, said Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha in a district-level review meeting held at the conference hall of Gomati Zilla Parishad on Wednesday.
Along with the district officials, the Chief Minister reviewed the progress of various development works under different departments.
He said, the government is working with a special focus on education, health, agriculture and power sectors to ensure overall development of the state.
Good connection must be built up between the administration and public representatives in order to quickly resolve the public issues, he said and asked asking the Secretaries and Directors of different departments in the meeting to conduct at least one district-level review meeting in a month.
The Chief Minister said, the benefits of various schemes of central and state government must be delivered up to the last man of the society.
Progress of MGNREGA, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, Power, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana and different schemes of Water Resources, Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission, Health and Family Welfare, Education, Agriculture, Forest, Urban Development, Horticulture & Soil Conservation, and Social Welfare and Social Education department were elaborately discussed in the meeting.
Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Sabhadhipati in-charge of Gomati Zilla Parishad Debal Debroy, MLA Rampada Jamatia, MLA Abhishek Debroy, MLA Jitendra Majumder, MLA Ranjit Das along with Principal Secretary, Secretary and Directors of different departments were present in the meeting.
Gomati District Magistrate Govekar Mayur Ratilal presented a documentary on achievements of the district through a power point presentation.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated “Amar Sarkar” district control room at the Gomati Zilla Parishad office and inspected No.1 Fulkumari Model Anganwadi Centre under Matabari constituency.
