Agartala March 04: When the Narendra Modi-led government was established in India in 2014, the Prime Minister's slogan was against corruption. However, in the last 11 years, the country has been plagued by corruption. Despite this, there have been no corruption investigations. Instead, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) have launched investigations against the previous government, alleging corruption.
Similar allegations were raised by Tripura Pradesh Congress as they addressed the press from state Congress headquarters in Agartala on Tuesday.
TPCC Spokesperson Prabir Chakraborty said, “The BJP-led Narendra Modi government has not been able to prove corruption. Meanwhile, corruption has been rampant in the state of Tripura since 2018. This corruption extends from the Panchayat to the Assembly with BJP leaders competing to loot money”.

The Congress party has started a movement against this corruption in Tripura as well as across the country. Our’s is the only party fighting against the BJP in the country, and there is no alternative to Congress, he said.
Prabir Chakraborty, spokesperson of the Pradesh Congress Committee, appealed to the people to come forward and strengthen the Congress.
He stated that the current government has also brought disaster to the country's economic system. In the last few months, the stock market has fallen more than it has in the last 40 to 45 years.
He also alleged corruption against the central government, claiming that there is no trace of 450 crore rupees in the “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” project.
Chakraborty said that the government has no initiative to investigate it.
